Matt

Matt is the Executive Director at Atlantic Infrastructure Management. He had never heard of living liver donation until his uncle had been ill for some time. Matt's aunt mentioned in passing about living liver donation. Immediately Matt stated he would do it. Matt and his brothers put their applications forward, taking one step at a time. He travelled to UHN in Toronto to do testing, and got a call that he was a match for his uncle. He was thrilled to see that his uncle was feeling better almost immediately. His uncle was able to talk about the future, and be excited about having a future. His scar is a momento of the unique experience they went through.
