Shelley

Shelley is a mother of two small children. Her brother was diagnosed with Crohn's as a teen, and diagnosed with primary sclerosing cholangitis, needing a liver transplant which put pure terror into their family. The moment she heard the word transplant, she knew she wanted to do it. She went through multiple tests and found they would need a deceased donor portal vein to make the surgery a success. It all came together and was a success. She is happy that it all turned out well. A year post surgery her brother was back to work, playing with his daughter with full energy. Shelley is proud to have her niece have her dad back, and to her brother back.
